For over fifty years, Faerber Collection has been buying and selling some of the world's most outstanding antique jewelry, exceptional gemstones and natural pearls. Its international clientele entrusts it with its most precious pieces, owing to longstanding expertise, a solid reputation and discretion.
Diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and rubies of exceptional quality, vintage and modern, including stones from the Golconda mines.
Fine, perfectly matched pearls, the speciality the family has carried since the founder's father.
Iconic pieces of noble origin, created by the most remarkable craftsmen, from antiquity to the present day.
« We specialize in iconic, period jewelry which, if they could speak, would have a thousand stories to tell. »Faerber Collection

Thomas Faerber's grandfather was a goldsmith, and his father a dealer in precious stones and fine pearls. The house he founded carries that line into its fourth generation.

« I purchase what I like. It can be antique or modern. » Thomas Faerber, in conversation with Capucine Juncker, Property of a Lady, 2021.
The grandfather was a goldsmith in Cologne; the father, Ernst Faerber, trained as a pearl merchant and established his house in Munich.
After working with the top diamond and precious stone dealers in Munich, Amsterdam, London, Antwerp and Paris.
A nine-square-metre stand, and a field opened to a worldwide audience. The house exhibited in Basel until 2017.
Thomas Färber SA, 29, rue du Rhône, has been the seat of the house ever since. From 1993 to 1998, its founder chaired the Swiss Precious Stones Dealers Association.
Alberto Corticelli had arrived in 1988, Philippe Atamian the same year as the children. The five combine their networks, experience, skills and sensibilities.
The set created by François-Regnault Nitot in 1810 for the Empress's marriage was sold by the Faerber Collection to the Louvre. The same year, Thomas Faerber was made Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his contribution to French culture.
Thomas Faerber launched the show with Ronny Totah: a high-quality, small-scale jewelry fair with a friendly, almost family atmosphere. Its tenth edition took place in May 2026.
Pieces of noble origin, often of historical provenance. The house becomes the guardian of its acquired pieces until the next step in their extraordinary history is made.

Fifty-eight years after Zurich, the house belongs to a market that has changed around it.
Geneva has become, with GemGenève, the place where the trade meets; the great jewels pass more often through auction rooms than through dealers' hands; and provenance, once a matter of trust between a few families, is now asked for in writing.
Faerber holds what few others hold: four generations of judgement, a reputation that institutions have relied on, and a second generation already at the desk. The question the house will settle in the coming years is not what it sells, but how a name built on one man's eye becomes a house that outlasts him.
